About ARJU

I met my husband in school. I talked too much, he was incredibly shy, and we mostly tolerated each other.

Somewhere along the way, that irritation became an unlikely friendship until he eventually said out loud what everyone else seemed to know before we did.

And that was that.

Before long, our families were talking about marriage and we found ourselves navigating a multicultural South Asian wedding as the first of our friends to get married.

Planning it was exhausting. Endless scrolling, hundreds of messages, competing opinions and a constant search for photographers, caterers, DJs, priests, outfits and all the little things nobody tells you about.

Finding vendors wasn't difficult.

Finding the right vendors was.

Beautiful Instagram feeds told us very little about reliability. Google gave us options, but not trust. Without a community around us who had already been through it, choosing people often felt like taking a shot in the dark.

What I wanted was a trusted friend who somehow knew everyone. Somewhere to discover brilliant people, see genuine experiences and choose with confidence.

So I built ARJU.

ARJU is more than a wedding directory. It is a place for couples to find people they can trust, and for brilliant vendors to showcase their work, build their reputation and be discovered for what makes them exceptional.

Our vendors became part of our own wedding story. They helped create moments our families still talk about today.

ARJU is built to celebrate those people, while preserving the cultures and traditions our families brought with them and embracing the South Asian community we are continuing to build here in the UK.
